These Terms and Conditions, together with the web-based booking form, constitute the entire Agreement concerning the provision of taxi and transfer services (“Service”) between you and Connect Airport Express, which is a service operated as part of Kinstand Ltd (“the Company”). Completion of a booking and use of the Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Existing confirmed bookings will remain subject to the terms and rates applicable at the time of booking.
1. Bookings
– A minimum of 10 hours’ notice is required for online bookings. For shorter notice periods, please contact our office to check availability.
– You must allow sufficient time for airline check-in requirements and possible traffic delays. The Company shall not be liable for missed flights or connections due to insufficient travel time.
– It is your responsibility to order a vehicle of appropriate size to accommodate both passengers and luggage. The Company cannot guarantee carriage of excessive luggage.
– All information requested on the booking form must be provided accurately. Please use the “Special Notes” field for any additional requirements.
2. Changes, Variations, and Waiting Time
– Any variations from the agreed booking (e.g., extra mileage, waiting time, or route changes) may incur additional charges in accordance with our pricing structure.
– For airport pickups, the driver will wait up to 60 minutes after the flight lands. Beyond this, waiting charges may apply. Failure to make contact with the driver within 60 minutes may be treated as a “no show,” and no refund will be provided.
– The Company tracks incoming flights to minimise waiting charges but cannot be held responsible for delays beyond its control.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
– Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will be refunded in full.
– No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup.
– In cases where flights are cancelled or connections missed, and the pickup time is more than 24 hours away, refunds or rescheduling will be arranged. If the pickup time falls within 24 hours, no refund is due.
4. Conduct and Responsibilities
– Passengers are responsible for their behaviour during the journey. Cleaning charges may apply if the vehicle is soiled.
– The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate a booking immediately if a passenger is deemed to pose a risk due to alcohol, drugs, abusive behaviour, or endangering the driver or vehicle. No refund will be given.
– Smoking, eating, and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
– A child of any age counts as one passenger. If a child seat is required, please notify us at the time of booking. You may also bring your own seat, which must be installed by you.
5. Liability and Limitations
– Whilst the Company endeavours to ensure punctuality, it shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or circumstances beyond its control.
– In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the Company will arrange an alternative vehicle as soon as possible.
– The Company and its subcontractors accept no responsibility for loss or damage to customer property carried in vehicles. Loading and unloading luggage remains the responsibility of the drivers.
– All vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims.
6. General Provisions
– Bookings made directly with drivers without office confirmation are strictly prohibited. The Company accepts no liability for any issues arising from such arrangements.
– The Company may substitute vehicles or drivers when necessary.
– Services may be cancelled without liability in the event of a declared national emergency, extreme weather, riot, war, fuel shortage, terrorist activity, or other circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
– Some calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
